From persistent pain to Scuba Diving

Context
At the time of this lady first visit she was a busy mum of two (aged 15 and 9), working full-time, studying, and trying to look after herself. She enjoyed kickboxing but had been living with ongoing back pain since having her children.

What was happening
She described her back pain as nagging and bruised, but it didn’t stop there. Her hips had begun to ache, her upper back was aggravating her, and she was experiencing pins and needles. Over time, the symptoms were becoming more frequent and more disruptive.

The Approach
Time was taken to understand the full picture — how her symptoms related to movement, training, work, recovery and the demands of daily life.

Treatment focused on reducing strain, restoring balance and supporting her body to adapt, rather than chasing individual symptoms.

The outcome
By her third visit, the pins and needles had stopped. Her left hip pain had resolved and her back pain had reduced to stiffness. After two further appointments, she was pain-free across all areas.

She now visits regularly as part of her lifestyle routine, helping her stay active, strong and comfortable in her body.

Today, she’s a grandmother and enjoys scuba diving with her son.

Her words
“Mrs K is happy ever after ;)”

Why this matters
When pain is addressed early and movement is supported over time, people don’t just recover — they discover new opportunities and find things they love, through every stage of life.
