Osteopathy & Massage Booking Policy

Payment & Deposits

To keep things running smoothly, here’s how appointments work:

  • A £30 deposit is taken for all online bookings to secure your appointment.
  • The remaining balance is due on the day of your treatment.

Nice and simple.

If you’ve got any questions about fees or payments, just ask, I’m always happy to clarify.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

Life happens,  I completely understand.

If you need to move your appointment, just give me at least 24 hours’ notice and we can rearrange without any fuss.

Here’s the practical bit:

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your £30 deposit.
  • Missed appointments (no-shows) will result in the loss of your deposit and may require payment of the remaining balance.
  • Deposits are transferable when adequate notice is given.

I really don’t enjoy charging for missed time, it’s simply there to protect clinic space and make things fair for everyone who’s waiting for an appointment.

If something unexpected comes up, just get in touch as soon as you can. Communication goes a long way.

Appointment Times

Appointments start at the scheduled time, and I always aim to keep the clinic running to schedule.

Every appointment is given the time and care it deserves. While I always aim to keep to time, some treatments can be more clinically involved than expected.

If this causes a short delay, I truly appreciate your patience, I won’t rush your treatment, and I offer the same attention and care to everyone I see.

If you arrive late, your session may need to finish at the original end time so the next person isn’t kept waiting. The full appointment fee will still apply.

If you’re running behind, please just let me know.

Health & Safety

If you’re feeling unwell with contagious symptoms (flu, fever, sickness etc.), please reschedule your appointment.

If you’re unsure whether treatment is appropriate, feel free to get in touch before booking.

In the rare event that I’m unwell or something outside my control crops up, your appointment will be rearranged as soon as possible.

Consent & Responsibility

By booking an appointment, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide about your health is accurate and up to date.
  • You’ll let me know about any changes to your medical condition.
  • You understand that osteopathy and massage are not substitutes for emergency medical care.

If you’re experiencing a medical emergency, please contact emergency services rather than booking online.

Communication & Privacy

You may receive appointment reminders via email, helpful nudges so nothing slips through the net.

You can opt out of reminders at any time, though essential service communications about your booking will still be sent.

Your personal data is stored securely and used only for providing treatment and managing your appointments.

Mutual Respect

A calm, respectful environment makes for better treatment and a better experience for everyone.

If inappropriate behaviour occurs, treatment may be ended and future bookings declined.

Updates

This policy may be updated occasionally to keep things clear and fair. The latest version will always apply to new bookings.

If you have any questions before booking, just get in touch, I’m always happy to help.
